Creating a High Vibe Life

There are a lot of different meanings for the phrase 'high vibe' life, what I mean by this phrase is creating a life that doesn’t just look good on the outside, but more importantly, feels good on the inside. Taking a page out of Marie Kondo's tidying philosophy, what sparks joy for you in your life? And what doesn't? What leaves you feeling drained? What leaves you feeling energised?

 

When you think about what you want your life to look like a year from now, three years from now, even ten years from now, what do you see yourself doing? Wearing? Who do you see? How do you feel? Is this life similar to your life now?

 

Start making decisions that contribute to the lifestyle that you want to create for yourself, start being intentional about your thoughts, your actions, your decisions, be intentional about making sure that they align with and contribute to your overall 'high vibe' lifestyle. This may seem pretty simple and straightforward, but how do you actually do this?

 

Firstly, let's start by identifying what makes you happy, what contributes to your high vibe life, this could be anything, what makes you happy will be completely different to what makes someone else happy.

 So be clear on these things, be honest with yourself about what they are, not just what you think they should be, and start making time each day to do at least one of these things, for the sole purpose of making yourself feel happy.

 

Picture what your 'high vibe' lifestyle looks like, and identify the differences between this picture and your current reality, are there new habits, people, or things that you're doing? Are there habits, people, or things that are part of your life now but aren't in this vision? What is separating present you from future 'high vibe' you?

Make a conscious effort to begin closing this gap, be intentional about your decisions, how you spend your time, the content you consume, the people you choose to spend time with, and the things you spend money on.

 

Set goals that support your high vibe life and make you feel like your best self, if your high vibe life involves you having a healthy and fit body, then set some goals around this, they could be to only eat out once a week, working out three times a week, getting eight hours of sleep a night, anything that helps you to realize your high vibe life. These goals could relate to how you dress, what you eat, the places you visit, the content you consume, your career, family, anything at all.

 

What is most important is that you love yourself enough to make these changes, to create a life that makes you happy, that leaves you feeling positive and full of excitement, to create the life that you desire.
